This home was designed by Garth Barnett who upon my geeza at his website, is obviously part of a team that work on all things design, architectural etc. I think I can safely say that if I could afford an interior designer, and lived in Sydney,
I'd be trying to commission this lot to take care of me!



I just don't know where to begin with this apartment, it is def a style, dare I class it as one style, let's say "glamour", which I would aspire to in my own home if I were not so intent on having a slightly more relaxed style.



I think this kitchen/dining is just divine!


The windows in this room take the level of luxury up a notch.
This "luxurious" home is currently on the market
for $7.5 Million Big Ones.


My favourite colour atm is def taupe, and in hallways, dark like this one,
I think it is impossible to improve.

The facade of this home is misleading, outside, it's a bit outdated, but I think inside is perfect for modern day living...

This room is the basis of my appeal to this home. The floors are amazing, I love the contrast of white on dark timber floors...

Obviously the older part of the home, timber lined dens, this size, are no longer incorporated to new home designs... lovely
Hmm, a stained glass door to the ensuite, that's different...?

If I had to have an "all white" bedroom, this is how I'd like it to be, perhaps a bit more effort on the bedroom decor, but what a sensational bedroom, raised ceilings, windows right round, fire place in the corner... fabulous!Ok, the marble bath, probably expensive, but not the most modern of decor today (with gold taps!).. but could be updated by a professional I bet!

Look at those lovely timber lined WIR fitouts - I love this - If only I lived in Brisbane and had a spare $4 Million lying around, I could pick up this little gem which is currently for sale!



Personally I prefer this kind of "built in seating" rather than the current trend to put wicker everywhere... just imo!

Except for the chair, I think this aspect of the dining room is pretty fantastic! I'm not normally a fan of feature walls, but that rear blue hued feature wall looks amazing there! (imo!)


I love the little design features like the door that leads through that timber shiny feature wall... that would be awesome to see! Must be fabulous...


You gotta admit, the kitchen is kinda stunning!
I could swear that is two underbench sinks on the front island!

And check out that "eight" burner cooker!
ah, doesn't bother me, I never cook in such a way that I need 8 burners going at once anyway...

Dalkieth must be a beautiful part of inner Perth (I think around 10mins from the city), I find quite a few gorgeous homes around there, and I loved this home which had a genuine provincial feel to it...


I'm noticing these kind of "grand" entry doors more and more, they are obviously the new "in thing"!!

I really like this elegant feel.


And here is the most wonderful living room I've seen in ages... How great is that blue, you know what I'm talking about!

Funnily enough, the owners did not make the fixtures & fittings provincial (eg. very industrial style kitchen)
but the decor completely deceives you...



I'd say the owners of this lovely home are looking for well over the

This is perfection to me, I think if you can decorate your main bathroom to this extent, you are kicking goals because if you actually look at the bathroom fixtures (eg loo, basin) they are fairly plain and simple, it's the large mirror and decor that gives it the style... very crafty actually!


Ok, this laundry is no Sarah Richardson laundry, but it's a good size, clean lines and with all the mod cons, did I say "good size"!!!

Pretty good views of Daylesford, about an hour out of Melbourne, the most gorgeous place to visit, with it's beautiful town main street.
