Hello

This blog is my *virtual magazine* of stunning homes in Australia currently for sale. The homes are not necessarily perfect (like in a magazine shoot) so you need to forgive some obvious mistakes, and just enjoy seeing how others live, perhaps even take some inspiration from here n' there! (if you see your home here, take a bow because I search high and low before I finally decide to post a home for my blog!) THANKS FOR DROPPING BY...

Swan River front home in Perth

Another Gorgeous Dalkeith home

Property Summary

Land: 1129.00sqm (approx)
Close to: Perth: 8km (direct line)
Dalkieth must be a beautiful part of inner Perth (I think around 10mins from the city), I find quite a few gorgeous homes around there, and I loved this home which had a genuine provincial feel to it...

I'm noticing these kind of "grand" entry doors more and more, they are obviously the new "in thing"!!

And this is what you see when you enter this home,
I really like this elegant feel.

And here is the most wonderful living room I've seen in ages... How great is that blue, you know what I'm talking about!

Oh and that view...

Funnily enough, the owners did not make the fixtures & fittings provincial (eg. very industrial style kitchen)
but the decor completely deceives you...

The owners of this lovely home are looking for around $8.8 Million Big Ones!

I loved the curtain application in this home...

What a cute idea, shutters to your ensuite,
I might do that in my new home here...

This is perfection to me, I think if you can decorate your main bathroom to this extent, you are kicking goals because if you actually look at the bathroom fixtures (eg loo, basin) they are fairly plain and simple, it's the large mirror and decor that gives it the style... very crafty actually!

Ok, this laundry is no Sarah Richardson laundry, but it's a good size, clean lines and with all the mod cons, did I say "good size"!!!

AND here's the Master Plans...

AND What did the Agent say about the home!

Dream Home By The River

Effortless style and elegance radiate from every corner of this beautiful family home. Located in a quiet Dalkeith cul-de sac, it offers a serene lifestyle against the picturesque backdrop of the Swan River.

Light, fresh and luxurious throughout, golden timber floors, soft white walls, high ceilings and elegant glass-panelled doors accentuate the home’s spacious design. Antique French timber doors welcome you on entry, providing just a taste of the imaginative range of styles artfully combined throughout the interior.

The formal living and dining rooms are on the ground floor, together with an open plan state-of-the-art kitchen and informal meals area. To embrace the sweeping views, the fourth wall of each of these rooms has been removed, allowing the stunning vista to spill in from outside. A huge sunroom stretches the entire length of the property, the perfect place to sit and watch the boats sail by. This level also has a two large bedrooms plus a living room (or study/bedroom) and two immaculate bathrooms.

Upstairs, the sumptuous master suite has a glamorous marble bathroom and huge windows with white shutters which can be retracted to maximise the glorious views. An additional room, currently a studio, could be used as a nursery or study. The property also has a separate annexe comprising a bedroom, bathroom and living area, offering a sense of privacy whilst retaining all the comforts of the main house.

At the rear, a secluded courtyard with Balinese pavilion is perfect for shady relaxation, and a charming decking area at the front of the property is ideal for entertaining whilst enjoying the sweeping river panorama below

It is a privilege to offer this exquisite home, superbly located in prestigious Dalkeith, close to everything and with gorgeous river views. Altogether a very desirable combination and an exciting opportunity!

Wowee is just right Annie! This is an awesome house! And the idea of a window on top of the entry doors (second pic)is fantastic to get more light inside. I think this would work outstandingly in my living room as it is quite dark!
Thanks, Annie. Have a terrific weekend!

Haha, just last night I was measuring up our ensuite entrance with thoughts of adding shutters...this has to be a sign!
What an incredible house.
