This blog is my *virtual magazine* of stunning homes in Australia currently for sale. The homes are not necessarily perfect (like in a magazine shoot) so you need to forgive some obvious mistakes, and just enjoy seeing how others live, perhaps even take some inspiration from here n' there! (if you see your home here, take a bow because I search high and low before I finally decide to post a home for my blog!) THANKS FOR DROPPING BY...

I enjoyed seeing this old home after it's refurbishment,
as it reminded me of the property I'm currently fixing up
at my town cottage!

See the timber shingles on the roof above,
that's whats on my roof, but mine's been covered over by iron!

There's no doubt,
these original floors are spectacular!

Interesting ceiling choice here,
and I love it!

AND here's the Master Plan!
AND here's what the Agent said about it!

Victorian elegance with a distinctive modern edge
Retaining its authentic external charisma, this home has been completely renewed inside with a stunning Neo Metro architect-designed renovation and extension. Light-filled and luxurious, the spacious interior highlights three large bedrooms (BIRs), modern ensuite and main bathroom, Ilve/Asko-equipped gourmet kitchen with stainless steel benches and stone servery complementing sensational open-plan living/dining areas with high ceilings. Bi-folds open onto a full-width deck overlooking a fully-landscaped back garden with undercover BBQ/entertaining area, wood-fired oven and access to ROW. Extensive features include hydronic heating and evaporative cooling, alarm, plantation shutters, European laundry, gas/stone fireplace, excellent storage facilities and polished timber floors throughout. Walk to Kensington Station, Bellair Street restaurants, boutique cafés and shops.

The floorboards are such a rich and beautiful colour with so much character. A lot of things I like here. Possibly want more from the bathroom though.

What a fantastic house. Love the exterior. Currently in the middle of cleaning weatherboard and doing it up so this is good for inspiration. G
