Hello

This blog is my *virtual magazine* of stunning homes in Australia currently for sale. The homes are not necessarily perfect (like in a magazine shoot) so you need to forgive some obvious mistakes, and just enjoy seeing how others live, perhaps even take some inspiration from here n' there! (if you see your home here, take a bow because I search high and low before I finally decide to post a home for my blog!) THANKS FOR DROPPING BY...

Smart Design

in Camberwell...
General Features
PRICE RANGE: Approx $2.5 Million
  • Property Type: House
  • Bedrooms: 5
  • Bathrooms: 4

Outdoor Features
  • Garage Spaces: 2
I loved the smart black/white exterior,
this is a brand new home, obviously staged,
but I just loved the exterior, so thought I'd post it anyway.
It's going cheap in the current property slump
we have here in Melbourne, I reckon 6mths ago
this would have been at least $500K more!

To be honest, if I could afford to live in Camberwell,
I'd want to live in a house like this one!

AND here's the Master Plan!
AND here's what the Agent said!

Brand New Family Entertainer

Sitting on an elevated block overlooking the tranquil tree-lined streetscape, this brand new 5 bedroom + study, 57 sq double-storey home offers the ultimate in contemporary family living. Benefiting from a sunbathed northerly aspect and situated in close proximity to public transport, shopping and schooling, the home boasts elegant interiors, modern finishes and immense proportions with high ceilings throughout.
Designed to deliver a low-maintenance yet thoroughly indulgent lifestyle, the generous residence comprises a sprawling, sundrenched open-plan living and dining area with fireplace alongside a striking kitchen with Miele appliances, stone bench top and butler's pantry, formal lounge room, home theatre, ground floor study, upstairs family room/ 2nd living zone and stylish alfresco entertaining area.

Accommodation wise, the home provides 4 upstairs bedrooms (main with walk-in robes and luxurious double vanity en suite) and a ground floor guest bedroom with robes and en suite. Other essential features include a secure double garage, additional OSP, separate laundry, water tank, ducted vacuum, sprinkler system, reverse cycle heating/cooling, full security, intercom and touchpad home automation.

Camberwell is such a pretty suburb, I would love to live there, though not too sure the husband would.

I do love it when downlights look like stars in photos, makes a place look more magical in my mind.

I would never have thought to paint that black trim on the exterior. It's quite a cool idea. Beautiful house!
