This blog is my *virtual magazine* of stunning homes in Australia currently for sale. The homes are not necessarily perfect (like in a magazine shoot) so you need to forgive some obvious mistakes, and just enjoy seeing how others live, perhaps even take some inspiration from here n' there! (if you see your home here, take a bow because I search high and low before I finally decide to post a home for my blog!) THANKS FOR DROPPING BY...

This is a lovely home
brought to my attention by the lovely Tanya who lives in Queensland,
apparently nearby to this home, in the Noosa Region!
She actually went to the open for inspection of this home,
the lucky devil.

She gave it 10 ticks for styling,
noting the owner is an interior designer.
The owners just had it is a holiday home,
life is tough for some aye....

Thanks Tanya for letting me know about it!

You can see the beach over past the end of the driveway,
nice view to come home to!

Tanya noted it was a nice home,
but on a rather small block.
But with views like that, most wouldn't care,
as long as the neighbours don't mind the kids
using their land to play on!!

Def a nice feel to this home.
Loving the Ebony stained Blackbutt Timber flooring!

I know not everyone agrees,
but I think cane furniture is pure luxury.

 That's a nice kitchen.
Nice layout, nice materials, nice views.

Great second area to hangout!

Tanya said the bedrooms were on the small side,
not great for storage either.
But I'm loving that bed ensemble!

This is a nice ensuite!
Don't forget to Tweet this post here if you like it too!

It looks a bit lonely there doesn't it!

Great place to spend your days if you "have to" live in Queensland :)
Thanks for reminding us Tanya :)

AND here's the Master Plan!

AND here's what the Agent said about it!

Exquisite Noosa hinterland home
Framed by native gums and perched on a ridge line that captures breath taking ocean views to the east & Noosa hinterland views to the west, this magnificent country estate truly sits in a magical location. Wake up to the sun rise over the ocean and later in the day enjoy sunset drinks on the shaded verandahs overlooking Cooroy Mountain.

A gum lined driveway leads up to a 3 car garage with large entertaining space above. Adjacent to the garage, the separate guest bedroom & bathroom includes its own private balcony capturing the sea views. The main house is accessed via a covered walkway and wrapped by wide shady verandas on all sides.

The sense of quality & style is evident from the moment you walk in the door. Ebony stained Blackbutt timber floors compliment the off white walls and timber period features throughout. There is a lovely informal lounge and dining area with an open fire & views that span from east to west which adjoins the open plan kitchen with its magnificent solid timber cabinetry, double Ilve oven & 3 Fisher Paykel dishdrawers. The formal entertaining area incorporates a dining table for 14 people, a Jetmaster gas fireplace, and a very spacious sitting area that opens out onto the verandahs overlooking the pool area & the ocean views beyond. The four bedrooms in the main house are all ensuited, stunningly appointed and open via French doors onto the verandas. A lovely study and stunning laundry complete the layout.

Outside the 2 acres of garden frame the home beautifully & a full sized floodlit tennis court provides additional outdoor entertaining.
The property is bordered by a large farm & acreage properties and, as such, is remarkably private and yet only 10 minutes drive from the heart of Noosa.

This stunning property must be seen to be truly appreciated.

But that toilet door in the ensuite looks like it would be a pain to open and close all the time :| ... with the tiny little handle and all.

Oh to have money...I'd be happy with that house as my real home let alone a holiday house! Ange
